• So, you’re a black church then?

You may be confusing the 16th century German Monk, Martin Luther,  with the 20th century American Pastor and Civil Rights Leader, Martin Luther-King.

  • Are your services in English?

Members of the St. Luke’s congregation come from all over Europe, Africa, North America and Australasia as well as the U.K. The Services at 10.30 on Sunday Mornings are in English, as are the Thursday evening Moments for Peace and evening prayer.

  • Who can receive communion?

Baptised Christians from any denomination who are of the right standing in their own Church are welcome to take Communion with us. The Lutheran teaching is that we receive the true body and true blood of Jesus Christ under the substance of bread and wine.
